Halloween is right around the corner – time for some scary good cocktail ideas!
Keep reading for the recipes…if you DARE!
These Halloween shots and cocktails use a deliciously dark liqueur – Patron XO Cafe. It's a blend of Patron Silver tequila and coffee.
The first Halloween shot is called the "Lizzie Borden." (Is it wrong that the only reason I know about Lizzie Borden is because of a morbid jump rope song we sang on the playground as kids?)
This shot is a blend of coffee liqueur and Irish Whiskey. I adorned my shot glass with an "ax." Actually, it's a cleaver necklace from one of my favorite whimsical jewelry designers from North Hollywood, CA – Jenny and JimBob!
Lizzie Borden Shot

1 oz. Irish Whiskey
Shake all ingredients over ide and strain into a shot glass
Do you dare to sip some "Goblin's Blood?" Try this blend of coffee liqueur and cinnamon schnapps!

1/2 oz. Cinnamon Schnapps

Should you wake up with a hangover on November 1st you might find yourself saying "Nevermore…"
The Raven Cocktail
1 1/2 oz Patron XO Cafe Coffee Liqueur
Cola
Lime
Combine liqueur with cola and pour over ice. Garnish with a lime.
If you want to have a little extra fun with your Halloween cocktails, try serving them over "Ice Screams." I actually really liked these silicone ice cube trays, they pop out so easily!
