To round out our week of bridal shower recipes, it is time to reveal 5 of my favorite tea sandwich recipes! I love these tiny finger sandwiches because you can enjoy just one or two bites of each one. It's a flavor smorgasbord!
If you have been following along, earlier I posed decor and drink ideas as well as homemade scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd. You might also want to check out this bridal shower wedding dress cupcake display and these adorable mini wedding cakes.

We offered our guests a variety of tea sandwiches: chicken, beef, ham and vegetarian. All cut into different shapes and using different breads.
Starting from the bottom-center and going counter clockwise:
Open Face Chicken Tea Sandwiches
Roast Beef Sandwiches with Horseradish Cream
Ham Tea Sandwiches with Chutney Butter
Cream Cheese, Dill, and Cucumber Sandwiches
The crowning glory of the spread was this incredible "Smorgastarta" or sandwich cake. Layers of egg salad, salmon salad and herbed cream cheese are sandwiched between slices of bread to create a savory cake. This dish can be made up to two days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. It is sliced and served as you would a sheet cake. This was one of the biggest hits at the party!
