Last week I had the pleasure of attending the 2014 International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. It is an event that I look forward to every year!
Imagine row after row, aisle after aisle of all the newest and greatest kitchenware and gadgets. I felt like a kid in a candy shop! There was so much to do and see that it is hard to summarize the four day extravaganza. So, I assembled a top 10 list of some of my favorite finds from the show.
Which one do you want in your kitchen? Tell us!
Keep reading for news from the show!
1) Cinnamon Roll Pan from Nordic Ware
How cute is this?! Make perfect cinnamon rolls every time. Sounds like a perfect Sunday morning to me!
2) Microplane Adjustable Slicer with Julienne Blade
Somehow eating vegetables is more fun when they are cut in fun shapes! I am excited to use this one to make zucchini "spaghetti."
3) KitchenAid Partnerships
You know I love all things KitchenAid. Imagine my excitement when I saw KitchenAid has teamed up with SodaStream and Nespresso to offer these stylish appliances. Sign me up!
4) Merchandise and cookware from The Chew
If you love The Chew, now you can buy their branded gadgets used on the show!
5) Pomegranate Press from Frieling
I adore pomegranate juice. With this tool, you can make it fresh at home!
6) Progressive International canning jar accessories
This is incredibly cool! Imagine turing your canning jars into useful kitchen gadgets by simply screwing on different tops. They offer an attachment for whisking and pouring dressings, a juicer and even a modern interpretation of an old-fashioned nut grinder!
7) Piñata Cake Pan from Nordic Ware
Piñata cakes filled with treats are all the rage. Now Nordic Ware has made them easier to prepare! This pan takes the guesswork out of this creative homemade dessert.
8) Slow Cooker Chic from Hamilton Beach
Adorn your beloved slow cooker with a new decorative front for any season, holiday or occasion! It's a new look every time.
9) Bright and Brilliant Colors
Two of my favorite companies debuted new colors for their collections. Fiesta showcased their newest color "Poppy" while Le Creuset showed off their product line in "Palm." Gorgeous!
10) Cutting Boards Made in America
I love supporting companies that reuse materials in exciting ways and are based right here in the USA. Epicurean certainly fits the bill! What was once used to make skateboards is now an eco-friendly way to stock your entire kitchen with cutting boards, utensils and gadgets.
