Makes 2 servings

Tasty, and healthy, too: Coconut water is high in potassium and other electrolytes. And Flaxseeds are a good source of beneficial omega-3s.

  • 1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen)
  • 2 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 3/4 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

Preparation

Purée 1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen), 2 pitted Medjool dates, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 3/4 cup coconut water, 1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries, 1/4 cup plain yogurt, and 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds in a blender until smooth.
