Festive cocktails during the holiday season are some of my most favorite of the year. I just had a baby almost three months ago, and just recently started to have a drink or two, perfect timing for my most favorite time of year!
You'll be hard-pressed to get me to say no to a good eggnog, rum, and nutmeg during Christmastime! After my kids go to bed, it's a favorite to enjoy with a good Christmas movie.
My husband is not as big of a fan - it's too rich, he says. He's more of a stiff drink or beer kind of guy. However, we're both huge fans of the classic Moscow mule. It is one of our most consumed drinks in the summer, aside from margaritas of course!
So I adore this merry take on the mule. It is still just as easy, swapping out cranberry vodka for regular, but it makes a huge difference, and is so tasty and pretty addictive, you won't be able to stop at just one, it goes down so smoothly!
Both the colors and the flavor are so perfect for a casual night at home or a fun holiday gathering! You could set up a DIY Moscow mule bar (with different add-ins if you so choose!), which would be so easy and fun for a holiday party. Plus, I'm pretty sure people would be talking about your amazing party well into new year.
This recipe is for one drink, but I promise you, it's easily doubled and tripled, we've done it, and it works perfectly. This is a hard one to mess up!
Don't let the most joyful time of year go by without adding these divine cocktails to your list of things to make this season! Flavorful, festive, you just can't go wrong with a cranberry mule in your hand!
