Easy Breakfast Scones

If you are looking for a special breakfast treat with a twist, this recipe is for you!

Everything you love about an elegant scone, with a secret ingredient…

Keep reading for the recipe…

These scones are made with a new cereal, Honey Bunches of Oats Greek!  If you love the classic Honey Bunches of Oats, then you will love the addition of Greek Yogurt bites.

The cereal is combined with buttermilk, flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.  Then using a pastry blender, cold pieces of butter are cut into the dough.  Dried cranberries are added for color and flavor.

I love to eat them warm from the oven!  Classic scones are served with clotted cream and jam.  In keeping with the "Greek" theme of the cereal, I enjoyed my scones with Greek Yogurt swirled with lemon curd.
