Pecan Tassies

Looking for a new recipe to try for your next cookie exchange?  This is it!  Pecan Tassies are unique two bite tartlets that taste like miniature pecan pies.  Dusted with a bit of powdered sugar, they make an adorable addition to any holiday cookie platter.

The cookie crust is a decadent combination of butter and cream cheese.  This makes the dough pliable enough to press into mini muffin pans without losing its shape.  The inside is a combination of both pecans and dates to create a to-die-for filling.

I love that these cookies can be made days in advance and kept in the freezer.  Then, simply thaw and serve!
