All you need is wine, crackers and this quick and easy Whipped Goat Cheese to have the perfect impromptu party!
I love grocery shopping. Truly, I do. Sometimes my shopping trip takes me to my standard market (Kroger), the farmer's market or, when I'm in need of stocking up on some pantry staples, Costco. Yes, I'm a proud Costco shopper. I love that you can find everything from mattresses to wine, all in one place. Efficiency is the key, am I right? It also comes in handy when you're in need of a 10 pound jar of mayo. Just saying.
When I go shopping at Costco, I have a few items that I always grab, even if I don't have a specific recipe in mind. A few of these staples are sweetened, dried young coconut (that I use when I make my Quinoa Granola Recipe, flatbread crackers (that are perfect when topped with my Pickled Peppers Recipe) and large packages of goat cheese.
I love getting goat cheese in these large packages, because I tend to use it in everything, including desserts like my Mini Key Lime Coconut Cheesecakes. While I love using it as an ingredient in another recipe, one of my very favorite ways to enjoy Goat Cheese is simply seasoned with herbs in my Whipped Goat Cheese Recipe.
This Whipped Goat Cheese couldn't be easier! Softened goat cheese gets whipped in the food processor with fresh herbs and a bit of milk to add creaminess to the texture. I serve this savory, goat cheese dip with crackers, fresh grapes and of course, wine, for an incredibly easy and fuss free party. Also, knowing that I always have goat cheese in my fridge, I just collect whatever bits of herbs I have leftover from last night's dinner to change up the flavors, and this delectable appetizer is ready to go.
Who says it has to be served at a large party? Whipped Goat Cheese is perfect for a romantic movie night in with your sweetie when you want something a little fancier than microwave nachos, but without any extra effort.
