Ingredients For the Dough: - 6 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 package Rapid Rise Yeast
- 3 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 6 tablespoons Melted Butter
- 2 cups Water, room temperature
For the Garlic Butter: - 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
Directions - Measure flour, yeast, sugar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer.
- Mix together until just combined.
- Add water and melted butter, mixing with the dough hook until ingredients come together to form a dough.
- Knead for 10 minutes.
- Remove dough from the bowl, lightly oil the bottom.
- Place dough in the bottom of the bowl, turn to coat then flip dough over so both sides are lightly oiled.
- Let it rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours.
- Prepare 4 baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
- Divide dough in half and cut one of the halves into 12 pieces.
- Roll into long log shapes and place on prepared baking sheets. I usually put 6 on each sheet.
- Let the breadsticks rise for about an hour or until they are doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
- Measure butter for the garlic butter in a microwave safe bowl.
- Add in salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Melt the butter, then stir.
- Brush on top of warm breadsticks.
- Enjoy!
